Getting a System together

I use to have 2 12" Hifonics Brutus subs with a 1600w RF amp powering it. Anyway, it wasnt enough really, so I sold the amp, and was using an Xplode for a while. Then I sold it all to a friend.

Now I want something again, and long story short I think the Re audio MX15 looks nice. I wanted to go with an 18 but when I asked about a box for it they said unless I wanted to pretty much lose my backseat with a box that I should go with a 15 with a good box.

So anyway, right now Im really leaning towards the mx15. Its dual 2ohm vc, 1500 rms. I only plan on getting one.

So, I need suggestions for a Sub that would be just as good as or better then the mx for around the same price, preferably under 500$, and likewise for an amp. Ive been recomended Audiopipe and Sundown time after time so those are the ones Im going towards unless once again there is a better option and better price.

Budget for everything is 1k.

Trying to think of anything thatd be helpful deciding, um

Itll be in a cab, depending on what box i should use, but itll be on my seat, not below anything. Listen to rap about 75% of the time. Sound quality isnt necessarily my top priority, mainly being just brain rattling loud and sounding good.

The list price is $315, but I've ordered several of them from audiosavings with an offer of $300 shipped.

That's a good start, but you'll need deadener & wiring too. Car audio is NOT a cheap hobby...

It it is very deadened already. I could crank it up all the way with my old subs and you could barely hear anything outside, not even rattles. I had to roll down the windows for anyone to even hear the actual music play, so Im not worried about that.

Id really like to out do my friend Hunter, hes got 2 l7's with like a boss amp, and whoa. it will thump.
