Sound like a scam? Seems a bit fishy to me..

Well, there is a member on here, just joined the forum (I wont say his username until i get some feedback lol).

0 posts, he says he wants to buy my sub, and he's from holland. I told him I wont ship out of the country, so he asked me to ship to New York, I said thats fine.

He said he wanted to remit money to my bank account, and needs my bank account number, and address and stuff?

For some reason, that doesnt seem right to me. I've never dealt with anyone asking for my bank account number, and i don't feel exactly comfortable giving that info out lol. But, it sounds like he's trying to take my moniez.

What do you guys think?

Wire transfers are very common in Europe, and to do one, you would need the persons account information. But as they say....."Follow your gut". If it seams fishy, just tell him no.

HE GAVE ALL OF HIS PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS "BUYER/SCAMMER" AND DUDE SCAMMED HIM AND USED HIS BANK ACCOUNT TO BUY THINGS !!!!

i had some guy try to do that to me as well. i would neeeeveerrr do that having your bank account number is definitely not a good thing. and if they don't believe its you when he tries to contact your bank, thats what he needs your address for, for a verification type of thing. theres no way i would do that.

What about setting up another bank account, getting the money, pulling it from the account, then send the sub?

He wouldnt be able take money out of a bank account that had nothing in it. Right?
