Getting a 2007 Camry SE V6....

all i said was picking at you for buying a mommy mobile. you want to shoot back performance specs get them right. not to mention i don't know what road & track mag that was from as i just spent 15 minutes searching their site and couldn't find anything stating their 1/4mile or 0-60 speed. the 3 reviews i've read on the SE v6 was a 0-60 in 6.8 and a 1/4 at 15.0-15.1. I was mostly picking but if you want to shoot back shit that is ignorant sounding them i'll argue with you until i'm proven wrong.

I looked at the 6, se camry and the altima.. I liked the altima the most.. The camry and 6 were nice but the altimas just seemed a little classier than the 6 and sportier than the camry

yeah the 6 is a good car for the price. altima's are good cars to just seem small to me. i don't fit well in them.

So, the May issue of Road & Track, page 81, lists the following specs:

The performance numbers are out for 2007 Camry SE V6, 6AT.

1/4 mile: 14.5@99.9 mph (5/06 R&T test 61F, 350ft)

There is another vehicle test in the same issue, Passat 3.6, 6AT

1/4 mile: 14.5@100.2 mph (5/06 R&T test 94F, 350ft)

They are faster than '04 TL with 6MT

1/4 mile: 14.8@96.6 mph (4/04 R&T test 88F, 150ft)

and '04 Accord coupe EX-V6.

1/4 mile: 14.8@97.2 mph (3/04 R&T test)

The surprising thing about it is it is Camry was actually quietest at constant 70mph.

TL is at 70dBA, EX-V6 coupe at 71dBA, Passat is at 72dBA, while the Camry was 68dBA.

AND comparing handling of the SE to a coupe:

The '07 Camry SE V6 with 215/55-17 Toyo Proxes J33 did 0.83g and 63.6mph

The '04 EX-V6 Coupe with 215/50-17 Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 M+S did 0.81g and 63.9mph

yeah the 6 is a good car for the price. altima's are good cars to just seem small to me. i don't fit well in them.

I wish i had an etra 4-5 grand or so, cuz i would of wanted one of those 3 before the 07 civic si i've been looking at..
