get some boxes

if the hole for the 6x9's are too small then, unless you start cutting up the hole--you are probably gonna be better off by getting some 6x9 boxes. i think they are $20 for 2 at walmart, that could have be individually but i dunno. a box on a 6x9 sounds alot better than free-air anyway.

 
just big enough so your 6x9's will fit i suppose. try shaving off a bit at a time. i would still recomment the 6x9 boxes though if you have room.

Don't get me wrong I've built a few boxes myself and I love doing it and it would've been preferred. But I now live in a one bed room apartment...

They have pre-cut wood if you pay extra at the hardware store. Just draw it out. But you'll have to pay extra. Then screw it in yourself...
