General questions about US Amps

Well I finally have some money to invest in a good amp

Ive been looking at the US Amps Merlin M2D.

I see its rated at 1000@2ohm @14.4 volts.

Are these usually underrated?

Anyone own this amp or seen it at work?

Yes they are underrated...over priced imo though...MLT on them is very nice though

I was looking at the JBL 1200.1 also,those go for about 400-500ish in stores

You can get the Cerwin Vega EXL 1200D on ebay brand new for $220.

that Cerwinvega amp is 1200@1ohm.

I need about 1000-1200 @2ohm

you can get a new Kicker zx1000.1 on ebay for about 350 or something.
