Ya I got a couple mpg drop in the explorer after system

if you were playing your system at full tilt, then yes your mpg was effected some if you didn't have your batteries on full charge to start with and the play time was excessive.

race cars have a similar problem, but it shows up on their ET times instead of losing MPG.

I use to get close to 21 on the freeway, now I get close to 17

I don't really punch my car either, and I drive 75mph

I have about an extra 200lbs over stock under the hood, and around 300 in the trunk. My car is carburated and still gets 20mpg city.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. My battery (singular) was charged fully when I started playing it, but it was just one yellowtop and I'm running 3k, lol. (I have more batteries on the way!)

i have a 98 vette that gets 33 mpg. with my re mx 15, ported box, amp, wire , etc i get like 28. selling the mx for a lightweight SQ setup

with system im around 12mpg not playing the system much

i use to get about 22mpg in my accord 6cyl. then with the system it dropped to 17!

only had 2 REs, box weighed bout 100 pounds. the whole setup was probably a little over 300 pounds. With me would be carrying 500 extra pounds a day. It was real shitty when I filled the car up with 4 others.

Im using only one right now, and my mileage is definitely better.

Mine drove just fine, but leaving a stoplight, even if I put it to the floor, the big city busses accelerated faster than me.

And the doors were literally falling off.

I got 32-33mpg on highway without a system. 28-29mpg on highway with a full wall (of birch) two XL 18s Four batteries and two alts
