Gauge of Wire?

I am going to be wiring up a AQ1200d and Kenwood KAC-8405 (720W Max 4-Channel).

Would I be okay running 8 gauge to both? It will only be like 3' at most from battery. (it is in my trunk)

no def do not run 8 gauge to that aq i would run 4 gauge to both

Kind of what I was thinking. The local stereo store(s) seem to think 8 is enough but I didn't know about that. Had to check with people I trust with these kind of questions. (you guys)

another reason i hate local stereo shops. dont know ther azz from a hole in the ground ..go 4 gauge and be done ...audio technix is my fave wire if ur lookin for some good price amazing wire @cthedinger; can help

4g AT wire. unless you plan on upgrading then you should get the 0

No on the 8g for sure!! At least good quality 4g.
