Usually they're labeled "This pump dispenses E10, 10% ethanol" or something like that. I'm not sure if they're legally required to post that with the lower mix.Are gas pumps labeled different if they supply 10% ethanol?
Corn ethanol sucks from an acreage yield perspective...sugar-derived ethanol is better, but we can't sustain a sugar industry here without some massive tariffs to keep Brazil away. They're really the leaders in sugar ethanol. Why is it a bad idea?
Interesting. I didn't know that.Corn ethanol sucks from an acreage yield perspective...sugar-derived ethanol is better, but we can't sustain a sugar industry here without some massive tariffs to keep Brazil away. They're really the leaders in sugar ethanol.
Biodiesel really is a better alternative, can be processed from many more sources that won't potentially compete with food crops.
I hardly ever buy gas from Wal-mart. I was just on that end of townDo you always go to Walmart for gas? Every Walmart that I have gotten fuel at yielded bad mileage. That is on both gas and diesel. I think they just buy shitty fuel.
I didnt know it was an option to get gas that didnt have ethanol. Then again there are a lot of ethanol plants in MN.
