I heard E85 is just cleaner. I have also heard that gas milage isnt as good. However, i didnt know it made that much of a difference.

Are gas pumps labeled different if they supply 10% ethanol?

I have yet to see any station with 10% or e85 or whatever the hell its called.

Usually they're labeled "This pump dispenses E10, 10% ethanol" or something like that. I'm not sure if they're legally required to post that with the lower mix.

E85 is 85% ethanol/gasoline, won't run in standard engines unless modified/designed for it.

Ethanol is for suckers.

100% gas is the only way to save money in the long run. VIA mileage AND engine life.

Older cars get ***** by ehtanol.

Most teenagers/college kids drive older cars cuz they're poor, which in turn leads to them getting gas @ 7-11 and places like that, in the long run it only hurts.

Why is it a bad idea?

Corn ethanol sucks from an acreage yield perspective...sugar-derived ethanol is better, but we can't sustain a sugar industry here without some massive tariffs to keep Brazil away. They're really the leaders in sugar ethanol.

Biodiesel really is a better alternative, can be processed from many more sources that won't potentially compete with food crops.

Do you always go to Walmart for gas? Every Walmart that I have gotten fuel at yielded bad mileage. That is on both gas and diesel. I think they just buy shitty fuel.

putting 10% ethanol through our engines is horrible for them, if you can avoid it. They don't give us options here so we are forced to get awful gas mileage.

I blame all these **** going green liberals. All they do is **** money out of me.

We use GSA vehicles at work, they had the bright idea to get vehicles that ran on E85, we probably put about 500 miles on the trucks a day, we were filling up 3-4 times a day with that bullshit, took about 2 months of that. And the vehicles that ran on that shit were gone:laugh:
