Fuses, I need a clear answer

I will have a extra battery in my toolbox, and my main under my hood. I will have a 250 amp alt. Amps are 2 sundown audio 1000d's strapped and a 100.4. I am running 1/0 from my main battery to my rear battery, then 1/0 from my rear battery to my amps via a distrobution block in the cab.

I believe I will need 3 fuses. 2 on the wire from the first to rear battery and 1 aft the rear battery. All of these within 12 inches. I was going to use 250amp fuses. Is this correct?

there is nothing wrong with fusing lower however
Yes, that's apparent but if he CAN he should go 300A.

It's not 100% important, but if you upgrade to an amp with a higher current draw in the future you won't need to change out fuses again.
