I have had my system for almost a year now, i have 2 rockford fosgate p3's with a rf p8002 amplifier to power them. One day it stopped working so i checked it out and i noticed that the fuse by my engine had blown. I went and i bought 2 new fuses and replaced it but it blew right away again. So I shipped my amp off to rockford fosgate to get fixed.
While it was at RF, i borrowed my friends amp and replaced the fuse again and my subs and new amp worked perfectly.
I got my amp back today from RF and it looks like they sent me a brand new amp with bass remote control. I went right away to set up my amp but didnt bother to change my bass control knob because i already had my old one installed where i wanted it. I hook everything up and turn my car on and the same thing happened as before. It works for 5 seconds then blows the fuse.
Could the problem be with the bass control know? Ive never heard of anything like that being a problem but it is the only thing that i didnt change. Any suggestions??
Thanks
