fuse size...

Ran 1/0 gauge wire from battery to amp. Amplifier (RMS 4ohm 1x310) has two 30 amp fuses on it.

How big a fuse should I put near the battery?

Should I put less than 30 b/c of the 30amp fuses in the amplifier?

Here are amp details:

30 x 2 = 60A If you add other amps later add the total fuse rating and upsize to that number later.

x2. If you happen to have ANL style fuses, they're going dirt cheap in the for sale section. Pick youself up a couple real cheap.

? why so if he maxes his amp on a burst it will pop the fuse?

lets say he does get a 600 watt burst out of the amp. Might not happen but is possible. At 12 watts that 50 amps. Do you know anything about the subject or just talking to talk?
