Fuse question

Getting an alt that does 140 amps, doing big 3 in 2awg, what size fuse should I use between alt and battery??

prolly 150 -200 i would think ,the fuse is just really to protect the alt if something was to happen to the battery

Ok, I have a 200 so if that's alright I won't have to buy one.

yea you should be good ,like i said its only there because if the battery does something weird like send voltage back to the alt ,the fuse would blow before damaging the alt
