Are mini anl and afs fuses the same size? Just named differently?

different afs is a mini of the anl. afs is 1 5/8" long anl fuse is 3.25" long

But someone makes one already called a mini-anl then there is a different kind called an AFS.

i searched afs and anl ,the afs is a shorter fuse and the anl was longer. i think the afs is a mini-waffer fuse and the anl is a standard waffer fuse. maybe someone else knows more?

They are a different brand. I was just seeing if they were interchangeable because I want one company's distro but I don't want their size fuse.

afs is a mini anl fuse afs is the technical letter coding like atm or agu ect. they are not interchangeable with standard anl fuses. and 175 is the biggest you can safely use a mini anl. some places ( i think blue seas? ) sells bigger but the standard caps at 175 for them and 300 for full size.

send me a pm i sell both and holders very cheap. I will have to see if I have any 200 amp in stock of the full size.
