Fuse Question (Distribution Block)

I have two JBL Amps with a fuse rating of 120 combined....so im thinking about using a 120 Mini-ANL fuse up front (4 gauge wiring).

Im curious to know if I need a fused distribution block?

Also, what would happen if I use 120 ANL fuse up front and 110a fuses with the distro block?

No. I suspect you're using 4g to your amps. But even if you used 8g, a run that short could handle 120amps.

Nothing with daily use. The 110 fuse would only pop before the 120 if you had a surge of current.

The fuse sizes are close enough that the 120 would likely be damaged before the 110 disconnected the fault.

If you get a fuse distribution block, I would recommend lowering the ratings on the fuses to match the draw of your amps.

A fused distro will have a fuse for each output, therefore you fuse for each amp individually.
