My fuse for my amp in the distribution block next to the amp, keep blowing when volume is turned up to high. Depending on the song, if it has too much bass then it will cut out around 20 or so for the volume. I have 4 10 inch mtx 4500 and a Kenwood KAC 9104D Amplifier. I bought a 4 gauge kit for this setup, and I'm assuming that is what I have, because it is all hidden, and I haven't physically checked it. Help me start troubleshooting this, and remember I do not know much about electrical.

so should I put a bigger fuse in it, it has 60 amp fuse now
Don't ever replace a fuse on any electrical product with one of a larger size, that will start an electrical fire very easily. If I were you, I would put a DMM on my speaker lead to the amp, and make sure that you are running the subs at 2 ohms (series/parallel). Your amp isn't stable below 2 ohms.

ok I will check that next, Now i just looked at my wiring, I'm still not sure what the load capacity for my wiring is but this is what I have:

From the battery I have that scoshe(walmart brand) 4g but really 5ga for power and ground

My actual 4 ga from the kit is running from the capacitor power and ground to where ever it goes

I have a 4 to 5 inch peice of scoshe from my double fuse holder to capactor

My amp has 8 ga running from it. Now tell me how that sounds.

Explain to me how to do a DMM check?

Kens Cartunes in Pensacola Florida. So should I change my wiring?
I don't really follow all of that, but do yourself a favor and go buy a Digital Multi Meter (DMM). This will help us to help you figure out your final ohm load. They can be had for $20. Go buy that, come back and tell us which model you have, and we can guide you through checking the ohm load being presented to your amp.

I just got a 0 gauge Rockford Fostgate wire kit, to switch out my wiring and I have a DMM to see if my speakers are wired series/parallel.
The wiring may not be your problem. What model DMM did you buy, or post a a pic of it if you can.
