fuse issue

i have a 4 channel running my speakers all of sudden the speakrs shut off and i only hear my sub.. so i check the fuse from the speaker amp and it was all melted so i replace it and still no sound..anyone have experience with this? could this be a major problem?

So the fuse under the hood melted? Ok did you check the fuse on the amp itself?

Melted huh? That is never a good sign. Double check all your wiring to make sure there are no shorts or other problems.

Did the new fuse "melt" when you put it in? Do you have mulitple runs of power? (I would imagine so because your sub amp did not cut out)

and x2 on checking the fuse int he amp. Pretty sure you don't want to hook it back up until you find the reason for the meltdown.
