fuse help

I have a fuse distribution block and need some fuses. Would it be a bad idea to put in 80 amp fuses? Is there a rule of thumb on what size fuse to put on certain amp (wattage wise)? I dont have any amps yet, just installing the wire in preparation for subs and amps. thanks

Don't worry about it until you get your amps.....when you do, add up the fuse rating of the amps, and get the closest size fuse to that number without going under....

What you mean by add up? Do you mean add up all the fuses and get 1 big one? Thanks

Like if one amp had a fuse rating of 50, and the other amp had a fuse rating of 100, you'd get a 150amp fuse...
