Funny sub story

So i sell my pioneer premiere ts-w12prs sub to my friend about 3 yrs ago for 200 then 1 1/2 yrs later he sells it to is brother with a phoenix gold xenon 400.1 for a total of $700 so now i am looking for a temporary sub for my temporary system which will be like my system for the next yr and i asked him does your brother still have the sub he says yes i say how much you think he will want friend replies not sure since i sold it to him for 700 but he just got arrested and now needs money so i am buying the sub from his brother for $100. Funny thing is i installed the system that was in the truck cause it was my friends truck then his brothers. Now i get my old sub back plus interest.
