getting down to start installing everything.

but thinking of changing my speaker selection.

I have a Dayton DSP 408

the car it is going is is a 2012 mustang

door speakers I thought about running a set of silver flute 6.5 where the shaker sub location low in the door.

the tweeter massive ct2 will be somewhere around the dash in a mount that will allow adjustments on direction

subs in the trunk two 10 inch Dayton HO's

the question I have is in the upper speaker location in the door
I thought about using an additional speaker in the door

If I use a 6.5 in the lower part of the door , would the use of a 5 1/4 inch be to close in size and frequency range to the 6.5

what would you use if anything additional to the tweeter and 6.5

Jeff how would these work
I should not have to do any modification to get these fit

You want dedicated midbass drivers. Those PRVd are PA mids made to scream your eardrums off, even though it has midbass in the name, its actually pure midrange, you will be completely lacking in midbass. Exodus anarchy is much better for midbass, same with crescendo pwx 8s, those are top tier globs of thiiic heavy output midbass drivers if quantity is what you are going for.
