Front Speakers out

Bought a '96 Deville:evil: wtih the base HU, ( 2 6x9's in the back, 2 5-1/4 in the front doors, and 2 tweeters in the doors. My front 5-1/4s are inop. The system has not been played with except for me trying to jumper the rears to the fronts to see if I got a response...nope. Any Ideas?
