Front Speakers + Amp for ~ $100?

Hi, i have a friend with a very small budget for a front stage. He's not really looking for sound quality, just something loud.

I told him he's prob not going to find components in that range, but he might be able to get a set of cheap coaxials and a small amp to go with it.

Any recommendations for a set of front speakers + an amp for $100? It also has to be new, but doesn't matter if they are refurbished or not. Even if its a little more after shipping (+$20) or something, still post it up, i need some ideas...

i would save up more $$ to get better stuff.. but at least its not junk

I was looking around and came across this for a possible amp candidate, since I've had positive experiences w/profile:

Profile HA600 $55 ~100wrms x 2 @ 4ohm

Have u had any experience w/those Kicker speakers?

Get a Profile amp from millionbuy or the Profile refurb store.

PowerBass comps for $36 from millionbuy. Only need around 50watts a side to get them pretty loud...

The profile amp + powerbass comps mlstrass mentioned seem like a good option for him though so far...
