front loading??

yes, back pressure, it is increased alot more this way, than with closing and sealing up, i first got interested in the idea when i noticed a difference in how long my dp 15 could take my 2500d, with the 'tarp" pulled over it in my jeep. it seemed like there was more air movement and i could run at a higher volume for a longer time.

so why isnt it suggested to put your sub close the the back door on SUV's?

 
sure is but i want to minimize the hatch rattle on my cherokee also, when i was sub up port back it was bad enough that my wiper motor is in the botom of my hatch now. so now im goin sub and port back....
