front component set?

Those bostons look like crap. I couldnt reccomend a $60 set of comps. I would say spend around $100, CDT has a set on woofersetc. Comps will sound better, handel more power and be more effiecent.

I have some alpine type s 6.5" and pioneer 6.5" they are both co-axils though. I could sell you a pair for under your budget. Let me know if you are interested. Both are currently pending but you would be next in line if they don't sell.

I wouldn't have bought those...didn't you read the description?

Description
The Soundstream XTS52 5.25" 2 way car speakers have a total of 250 watts combined output per pair! These are one of the most powerful speakers available. These have 125 watts each for a total of 250 watts.

Even more important than power output, these speakers will give you the best in terms of sound quality as well. They are made from start to finish with great components (more about that later). These have amazing surround sound! These have a built in dedicated woofer for bass and mids, and built in tweeter to play all the extreme high notes.

The parts on this speaker are amazing. They have ferrite magnets, which are known to stay cool, and drive a lot of power to the speakers. They have a rubber cover over the magnet to protect the speakers from blowing easily like cheaper speakers on the market. The aluminum voice coils are strong, and can handle a huge amount of power. These have extra high efficiency dome tweeters for the highs, and best of all, the tweeters swivel, so you can get the ultimate in sound staging.
Hahahahahaha!!! Amazing surround sound? What the crap? Ferrite magnets are known to stay cool? That's news to me, I didn't know that ferrite magnets had superior cooling to neodynium...plus, I think the rubber boot magnet kind of cancels out their stupid point anyway... A rubber cover (magnet boot) to protect them from blowing easily? Who says things like this?

I would have done more research first...better luck next time. Hopefully you like they way they sound though, that's the important thing.

Meh.

For $40/shipped, though, if they play even decently they were worth what you paid for them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm with Xander, though, that item description must have been written either by someone who knows next to nothing about car audio or by someone hoping no one else knows anything about car audio.

Rubber magnet covers prevent speakers from blowing???

Built-in dedicated woofer and a built-in tweeter.

WOW!

Like every other component set on the market - some selling point...

yea i haven't got them yet but i mean i checked out the rms on the website so i know it can handle the amp so its gotta be better than stock right and soon im gonna order a four channel amp for all around thennn hopefully start saving up for a system
