front and rear speakers

I am looking for some components and rear speakers to run off of my kicker 300.4. Any suggestions? My setup is Alpine 9833 kicker1200.1 2 L7s. An alpine lip down monitor and farenheut visor screen with a movies to go dvd player. I metion the screens because my son watches a lot of tv in the durango. I listen to mostly rap. When my son is in the truck I turn my subs off so I need descent - good midbass. Around 300-400 is my budget. Any suggestions

I have a pair of Alpine SPR-176A which are components 6.5" and a pair of Alpine SPR-694A 6"x9" rear speakers. In intrested PM me , if you use msn messenger add underworld_master2006@hotmail.com or if you use AIM add inductedhades. These speakers were just bought in Feb of 2005.

6.5" components and 6.5 in rear. Someone recommended CDTs or diamond. Isnt Ed speakers rebadged CDTs but cheaper what are you guys suggestions

I went and looked at the diamond. The aluminum tweeter is a little harsh for my liking. One of the salesman had 5" 4" and tweeter 3way components in his car. What about the silk tweeter any better? I am also looking into MB Quart. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the replys

get 2 sets of the same type. for form and function with the entertainment aspect id want the same tweeters all around at least. id also look for a peice that turns the rears off and on for general listening though but thats just me.

I like the idea of staying the same brand, maybe the alpine type x. Why cancel out the rear speakers though. I know all about the soundstage in front but not in a truck so big I dont think I will notice it caceling out the fronts.

you will notice maybe not as much but it happens just try it then unhook the rcas for the back sometime see if you can tell. i just got the cd-102 from autosound 2000 that should show it

I sure hope that these sound great. I have a problem though. On crutchfield and car domain it says that 5.25 and 6.5 and 6.75 all fit how is that possible. A shop said that I had 6.5 Any other site to find ut before ordering these I want to do it tommorw or tuesday
