Friends build, Suggestions, plz...

So a friend of mine is sorta into car audio, doesn't have his own system, but likes to listen to mine and my firends. He mentioned that he was considering getting one and i gave him a quick estimate.

1- ED 13kv.2-100$

8awg wiring that im takin out of my car ~20$

2 ch Amp bridged at 4ohms b/c he wants good sq

build our own box

ill be doin all the installing since its mostly straightforward

dont want to kill his pocket since hes tight on cash and newto ca but any suggestions on 150$ 2 ch amp that does~500watts and what is needed to run a sub into the factory hu in a 2003~ jeep grand cherokee? want to stay around 350-400. any other sugg on alternate setup ideas welcome...

Why not just run a mono amp at 4ohm...?
