Friend need alt,what size?

Ok my buddy is just finishing gettin all of his shit together,except alt.BUT there is a concern on his part.He has a 93 chevy pickup with 321,000 miles and he would like to know how much strain/stress the larger alt will have on his motor,but I think the motor still produces enough power and not to worry about...I have 250,000 on my motor with a 200 amp alt and I didnt think it created an addtional load.

So he is running 2 soundstream picoso2000 or something like that,2000x1.Hescurrently run 2 kinetik 2400s,1 under the hood 1 in the cab.Multiple runs of kicker 1/0.So he would like to know the minimal size alt. he can run.

And if an alt doesnt create more load,lmk and call me dumb and recommend the proper size alt

Probally around a 200 amp will be fine...I have an Ohio Generators large case with external regulator with wired adjustment for $300 shipped if he decides he needs a good one...It is basically brand new...

200 amp thats it?I thought it maybe at least a 250amp.I will let him know about urs.I live in La so I pretty sure not to far away.

Total Watts Divided by Voltage output will tell you how many amps needed.

Wire should should be sized to alt output.
