Frequency Display Program

I'm trying to find a program that will allow me to evaluate the frequencies a song is playing at. I need this so I can look at certain songs' bass frequencies and troubleshoot my box in preparation for a box I will be building in a month or two. I've searched online but can't find any freeware. I've search download.com but came up with nothing. I looked at Spectrum Analyzer but it looks like it's more than what I need. I'm sure someone here has to have or know of a program like this.

thats interesting, I'd like to see if there is something like that. Maybe addon or plugin from winamp?

Honestly, it will be hard to find someone that would just give it out. Cuz these programs are like secrets towards every competitor that competes.

I was thinking plug-ins for winamp but couldn't find any that looked good on the site. I'm hoping someone here will have something, or know of something to use. I may just have to go the torrent route on Spectrum Analyzer. It's a bit overkill though. I just need something that shows what the frequencies are of a song. I can listen to the portion I know is giving me trouble and see what the frequency is at that point.

thats true, i know winamp shows that oscilloscope thingy when you're playing the songs. I'm not sure if there is a program can just log it through out the songs so you see from begining to end of each frequency.

go to the download link up top and pick the spectrum analyzer pro lab, its a 15day trial i believe, but it will zoom in on 20-100hz and let you look at that area or the whole spectrum

That's the Spectrum Analyzer program I was talking about. I was hoping for something that I wouldn't have to pay for. Like I said, I may go the torrent route for this program. It seems to be pretty popular.

Yeah Adobe audition works well. I have it.
