So...i decided to build my first box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
The box will be in the extened cab of my 1999 Dodge Dakota RT. "Willing to remove back seat"
The subs im planning on using are 4 12inch type r's. [swr 1242d] Ported box of course.
I dont really know much about building boxes, thats why im here... so can i have a list of materials that ill need to get this job done..right! "haha"
Tips would be great, alot of tips. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
The cutting and sh!t shouldnt be a problem, seems really d@amn easy but measurements!!! i dont know where to begin with em. i know certant subs need a certant cubic ft. with the box having 4 subs in it i dont know how to figure it out. i cant use website caculators, thats why im asking for someone to do it for me..i feel like a piece of sh!t asking all this.
Yes, im a noob when it comes to boxes... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
So to sum it alllll up, could someone caulculate the dimensions of a rectanglura ported sub box thatll hold 4 12inch alpine type r's SWR-1242D then list the materials needed for the project. I need a guideline
Thanks
