For those of you running stinger volt meters....

I just ordered a stinger volt meter and was looking at the installation instructions. I noticed you are suppose to plug one of the wires into were you want it to read your volts. Should I plug that into my amp or battery? Basically where do I want it to read my volts from?

I want to plug one into the amp.. If its good then the battery is also good

I put mine right into the power input on my amp, works great.

alt/battery up front. the ignition for it goes to the red wire for your headunit, or something that acts as an ignition switch

It's a nice thing to have. I have mine running to my rear batts. Easy hookup 3 wires, positive, negative and blue turn on. When you get it, pop off the face of it and theres an adjustment screw. Use a DMM because mine was way off when i hooked it up.
