For those of us with mini trucks....

Who has had problems with the subs and the back of the seats? I don't want them to be rubbing against the back of the seat, cause that will cause more heat. but with the mounting depth of these death penalties, i may have to...

The plans for now are to build a false florr to get that annoying hump out of the way, stash the amps underneath that, then build a wedge box to go up to the window line.

~6 cubes, subs forward, ports up w/ 4 4" psp's.

i just ordered those so that IS what i will be using.

yep that is the main down fall you will lose leg room

I have my 9515 in a 5cu's the box sits on the ledge and goes all the way to the window line and takes up the whole length of the truck and is i think 12" deep sub forward on pass. side with 2 6" areos up on the drivers side the amps are on the floor partly under the box

why do you have a prob with the subs rubbing then? I fit 8cubes sealed in my 95 S15, firing forward, under the window line and could put the seat back G style.
I guess I should be fine. I didn't take into account that I could make it mush less depth...

I was thinking I would have to make it so that the ports would have to fir behind the subs, but I can put it on either side...so long ways(49") my box will go like this...

port, sub, port, port, sub, port
