Is it forgotten and left in the garage? It's been like 4 years.

I did some searching around and all I could find was a few other people talking about them on other forums.

On the RE Audio website they have a link to a video where they were testing the coil for the XMX, but the link is broken. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I like cool weird stuff like this! I wonder why more companies aren't making the massive 21-25" subs like I saw back in the 90's...? I know they aren't very practical, but neither is a 180db competition vehicle!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif

It and the Adire Parthenon were basically design exercises. There were rumors of both subs making it into production, and Wiggins made noise about selling a Parthenon if someone coughed up $5k for one, but I never heard of anyone ever actually buying/using one.

The Parthenon existed before the XMX. I dont remember the details of the designs, but I assume the XMX is just a similar copy to the Parthenon. Back then RE and Adire were very close. For example, the brahma extreme was in fact just a RE XXX with a different dust cap.

Somebody like spl audio should buy adire and start throwing together brahmas again. I'm pretty sure a lot of people including me would buy them
Last I saw, you could buy Adire for $80k, not including any patents, a facility, equipment, or stock/product. So it would take a lot more than buying the company to start building brahmas again, unfortunately.
