Fixed Dimming issues!

Well, im sure some of you have seen my threads and youtube vid's about my setup causing major dimming problems, I have solved this problem!

I tried pretty much everything i could before trying this and it actually worked.

Anyway, it happened by accident. I accidentally left my lights on at my girlfriends house and the car wouldn't start. So i used her dads battery charger and left it on 10a charge for about 30 min. Car started right up. I then started playing music when the car got warm and i noticed that i had BARELY any dimming at all, not even noticeable!

I was like wait a min wtf?

So basically my battery was charged at about 60-70% and my alternator for whatever reason wasn't actually charging it back up, it was just sustaining the 70% charge. SO i did a trickle charge over about 4 hours and the battery reads fully charged. Turned on my headlights and played at max volume and i have no dimming.

So the real question is, how long will my full charge hold out now? 1 month, a half a year?

anyway i thought i would share this just incase others are having similar problems.

Here is my setup specs.

Big 3

4 gauge wire to amp

SOLID GROUND - sanded the shit out of the paint.

14.4 volts to amp

500w rms @ 4ohm

650 CCA battery

-10 ~ 20 degrees depending upon the day.

How does it not seem like i fixed it?
because if you had "partially" charged the battery to find it to stop dimming then find the lights dimming again then something is wrong. you need to check your idle voltage. you need to have your alt checked. even if they say it is alright you need to get a second opinion on it. if you charged it partially the first time it should have been recharged once you started driving the car again.

if it took you a second recharge from an external source other than the car then your issue is not resolved. you're putting a band-aid on a stab....

no no no, i partially charged my battery when it died to get it to jump and ever SINCE then i have had NO dimming, I put it back on a trickle charge today (battery died 2 days ago) so that i could completely charge it correctly (not 10amps in 30 min) but a correct trickle charge over 4-5 hrs.

edit: will have some vids up to compare to before.
