Hi All,
I'm sorry that my first post is a cry for help, but this is really doing my head in and I can't figure out what it is.
I am fitting a sub and amp into my 2000 discovery. I have run a new power cable and found a good ground. I have run a remote and RCA cables off my replacment pioneer head unit. Everything seems good and there is a good 13+ volts reading a the amp (engine running) but when I turn the head unit on, the voltage at the amp drops to 5v and the amp won't turn. When I turn off the radio, the voltage slowly returns to 13+ volts. Thinking it was the amp, I replaced the amp with a brand new one, but the same thing happens with this amp. If I had hair I would be ripping it out now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
Does anyone have any ideas....please???
thanks
John
