Help on batcap installation

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have a quick question regarding batcap installation. I have am currently trying to install a xstatic 300 batcap in my system. Instead of the conventional way of just hooking it into the + an - of the amp... could it be plugged into the capacitor port... I am running an cadence ultradrive z7000... thanks
