Firtst 18" Set-up

Sure thing... Itll be a while before its set up though I gotta build a box and I wanna try to get my hands on a saz3000 since its a D1 the amp will work great and if I get another Xcon Itll still be plenty.

The sub should be here Wed. or Thurs. Ill takes pics when I get it.

On another note I got a Red Top Optima today for $25 its used but looks to be in great condition resting voltage is 12.9 I will be using it in the build.

This one has everything Ive got for my next build so far minus the wiring in it, lots huh lol? Reason I got a Red Top was because its like new and I got it for $25 I couldnt pass it up.

It sounds awesome man and gets loud too... it does kill the lows for sure. Got the red top at a junk yard, the knocked off the core charge since im in the military. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

1994 Chrysler LHS, thanks. heres a pic didnt get to mount the amps correctly yet was a loonnnggg day of the box build and install (yes all in one day!).

Must be if he's running it in 7 cubes. Is it a blow through into the cabin or something?

its possible. I never have had a system in a car but doesnt it usually sound better port firing backwards?

Most setups you do port to the back but I don't see a port on the front so I'm just assuming he's firing it into the arm rest thing in the back seat (Don't have a car so I don't know the name of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif)

Yes its ported if you look closely in the pic you can see it pointed up towards the 6x9's... I think I am going to relocate the ports to the rear though. I thought porting into the car would help since it has so much sound deadening to keep the cabin silent and a steal plate behind the backseat but it seams to the rear always works the best.

you should try to fire the sub and port forward into the cabin, i kinda doubt you have enough height to do that with the 18 though. doesnt it just rattle the **** out of your trunk lid how it is now?

The ports are directed into the cabin through the 6x9 holes... it flexes the trunk lid pretty bad doesnt rattle hardly at all though.
