I do.
JL....sucks (price wise)->I'd rather buy 2 12"s with their price of 1.

Kicker.....sucks (sub and speaker wise, amps are good)

RF.....sucks (price wise, and subs suck)

The reason I hate a lot of mainstream products has nothing to do with quality, it's because you wind up paying for more than the product. You wind up paying for advertisement and hot girls in magazines, etc. I don't like paying for that, I just want to pay for my woofer or amp.

the woofer is only 250 bucks...thats not overpriced overprice are 800 dollar w7s.
look ive owned most everything under the sun at one point i speak from experience so KISS MY AS*

leave while i can? get a life while you can....nevermind too late dude you are running an 8..my system turned off is louder and better..and trippple the value 0 guage wire second battery and im only running my subs at literally HALF power to each sub and NO one has ever heard anything like it (as far as 12s)(that ive meant)

i KNOW what im talking about because ive EXPERIENCED it ive had other amps and hundreds of subs...

for the price the set up i mentioned may not be the BEST but is **** good and all NEW products. Not ebay or craigslist

sir, 250 bucks for the RD is not cheap. you can get a sa 12 for 200 and it will walk all over that RF. and just because i only have one 8 means i cant be loud? lulz i run an amp that puts out CLEAN POWER while your 2 ap1500's are clipping like a mofo. i KNOW you dont have the electrical to back up 3k. and your saying you have each sub at half power and nobody has ever heard anything better? then your city/town is pretty dam sorry. you TRY to get loud with your two clipped amps and two plastic subs that probably distort like a mofo, my setup actually sounds clean and can hit higher numbers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I guess that is the recommended set up? Ill be going with that then.

well if you want to save money, just buy used on here. i know their are Fi Q's out there as well as AQ 1200's

well your going to see better sound quality in the Q. the sa will drop down a little lower and may get louder

I agree to some point but i dont think the new line of rockford are crap...the previous ones i would agree but they are still considered to be on top of things and i know my t1s are not crap..i mean for the price they could stand to be made a lot more quality no lies but they perform very well look cool and hit deep and hard/

kickers CVX and L7s are good but once again a little sloppy on quality for the price

it comes down to what you get for what price...but 250 for a T1 is not a bad price...and it will perform and make most very happy.

and i have NEVER paid a ton for any of my audio equipement i got my 2 t1s BRAND new in box plastic and grills for an older Gen 10 inch L7 and a PS3 that i never used

FYI a sa-12 is cheaper then a t1. But it does only have 1/4th the plastic of the T1 so I now see why RF cost so much. If its not a TRF then i will pass.

no if you hate kicker you still hate solox simple reasoning its the EXACT same quality and build style and everything people always diss kicker for... but i admit its ******

and also 50 dollars isnt big savings...and after you pay for shipping youve done spent that 50 plus some probably...and i have high performance 0 gauge wire hooked directly to the HO alt running to a second Yellowtop battery..so i cant power what exactyl? also i dont NEED all 3000 watts...thats the point have more than you NEED. i only NEED 1600 to run my t1s at their recommended RMS and since im not running heavy on my amps i KNOW they are NOT clipping they are putting out solid power ive had my testing done and im runing them at 14.4 volts thanks...

I am currently beginning my research to purchase my first car audio system. I am looking for a one 10 or 12 inch subwoofer that will hit hard in my 2008 mazda hatchback. I am a huge computer enthusiast, and can only assume that car audio has the same perks as computers. Meaning, there are low, mid and high range products with some unnecessary features i will never need to buy.
I would rather not go the "Beginners" route, but do not want to spend the money for a competition system. If anyone can recommend other posts for me to read in this or other forums, it would be greatly appreciated.

Unlike computers, a lot of car audio isn't obsolete in 2 years though. Most head units today are disposeable, but good speakers should last many years and good amplifiers can last decades and retain value. Also good quality copper wire can always be removed and pretty much never goes bad.... Things to keep in mind. You get what you pay for to some degree, but there's always that high end where you're just doing it for the sake of spending money and bragging rights and get very marginal returns.

its 50 dollars! and its called cosmetics they are just there to make it look more appealing to the eye which BTW SA def arnt..there is NO harm in adding some cosmetics to a sub to pretty it up a lot of companys to it...its called smart buisness..

example maybe if my crystal audio subs LOOKED better they could be a lot more well known
