Alright. So, the price range above your saying 500-700$ is what I am looking into for a solid system? That is a little higher then I would like, but I can drop that much.
What brands should I be looking into to start out?

I have always been under the assumption that the best brands are Fosgate, Pioneeer, JL and Alpine. Scrolling through e-bay, I noticed they have a lot of products in the 100-150$ price range. Why would these not be a smart purchase?

pioneer makes some of the best stuff in the world.....but you need to buy their top of the line stuff and its expensive. the others are exactly the opposite of the best and at higher prices than the actual best. mainstream brands get a lot of hate and are seen as a joke. stay away.

the woofer is only 250 bucks...thats not overpriced overprice are 800 dollar w7s.
look ive owned most everything under the sun at one point i speak from experience so KISS MY AS*

leave while i can? get a life while you can....nevermind too late dude you are running an 8..my system turned off is louder and better..and trippple the value 0 guage wire second battery and im only running my subs at literally HALF power to each sub and NO one has ever heard anything like it (as far as 12s)(that ive meant)

i KNOW what im talking about because ive EXPERIENCED it ive had other amps and hundreds of subs...

for the price the set up i mentioned may not be the BEST but is **** good and all NEW products. Not ebay or craigslist

we get it, its your first system and you dont know anything yet, rockfords are THE worst subs from a mainstream brand.i just helped a local guy get out from under 2 of them, he had 2 on a zapco 1100. sounded awful and didnt get loud at all. if it says on the website that the sub (t1) prefers a sealed box, dont ****** bother.
