First system not sure how to wire to amp

Just bought my first system, I got 2 dual 4ohm 15'' kicker l7's with a vented box and a Hifonics X2600.1D Brutus X14 Series 2600 Watt RMS Mono Block Class D amplifier.

My question is there a risk to the amp if I wire the subs to 1ohm? And if so how would you recommend doing it? Thanks for any help in advance

Probably, I mean if i could find something better I would. They're literally brand new though still in the package, off kickers site its $960 for 2 without a box. Couldn't find anything good on craigslist in my area either

If you guys could help me find something better I'll definitely return them. Like I said its my first system I don't really know much yet. Any opinions on the amp?

Nothing against you at all man. My first system was 2 kicker comp 12's in a box i built in woodshop.

Definitely do your research and ask on here, there are so many people here willing to help and you'll learn so much.

What are your goals? What do you listen to mostly.. Do you want something loud, or low, or both? Are you wanting to stick with 15's or 12's or what?

The best bang for your buck right now is going to be soundqubed HDC3 series subs, they're priced really well and i've heard everyone loves them that has them. I recently just purchased a FI Bl 12, that gets really low, but I also paid $380 for the sub used, but thats what I wanted to do.

I recommend talking to @mylows10; he can definitely help you out. Hes a good vendor with a lot of knowledge. But there are many guys on here with a sh1tton of knowledge.

yea dude you made an honest mistake we all did well most of us theres some ***** on here that are bass gods from the womb according to them. but yea return them because there is way better stuff out there like i said for $600 you can have a custom box built and 2 way better subs than that. soundqubed had great stuff for the price but theres other companies like american bass, tantric, ssa, fi, sundown, ect.... theres so much better than kicker for the same price you paid

Thanks guys, I'll have to see about returning them and then go back to the drawing board. Probably sticking with 15's. I usually listen to rap and very occasionally dubstep, I just want some low-range subs. Keeping the $600 budget is there anything in particular either of you would go for?

oh and one thing ALOT of people don't know about this, once you get passed 1200rms money into upgrading your electrical is needed and thats where this stuff gets expensive. i bet you never thought you'd buy a $300 dollar battery and $400 alternator did you? well in this world thats common and a must most of the time. but that we can get into later, to start answer the above questions
