First post ... need suggestions

Hello to everyone, I have a 1988 S-10 Reg. cab and would like to replace all 4 speakers 4"x6" dash, 4"x10" rear. I have looked at Pioneer (TSG4641R) & Kenwood (KFC-4675C) for the dash, Pioneer (TS-A4103) & Kenwood (KFC-415C) for the rear. I've only seen them online. I will be putting in an Alpine (CDE-9843) HU, any suggestions on better speakers close in price. Thanks in advance for any help ! Chaz

Mos tthe hting su want can be ofund online for cheaper, i would just buy em mang, Stores ahve very bland varities and usuly there prices are twice as much as online stores.

Yah.... get ready for a whole new world of car audio. Remember these things:

A) if you can buy it at CC, BB, Walmart it's overpriced and generally crap (doesn't include HU)

B) Audiobahn SUCKS

C) Max power means absolutely nothing

D) When replacing speakers like 4x6 and 4x10, cut holes and make then 6.5" round!

E) Amp everything..... don't run stuff off your HU (unless your a total broke ***)

F) The FIRST time you wire for an amp wire with 0/1 ga... it'll save you time down the road when you install your shiny new 1000wRMS amp that everyone ends up owning

G) Use the **** search function....

ohh yah... and for your first set of speakers/amps get a zapco ref 350.2 (175-250 used) and a set of focal access 6.5" comps (> 200 on ebay)... overall you'll spend $500 or so but you'll make everyone else jealous... and you're only scratching the surface...

ohh and the classifieds are a great place to find car audio gear...
