blaugh!!!!
Hey guys, just though id post some pics of my first fiberglassing project ever. I think its goin pretty well so far, since it is kick panels, Im having some troubles, but the hard part is yet to come when I have to actually make the enclosure for them. My EBRAKE is in the way, so I dont know if im going to have to take it off or not. I think it would just make things easier. Im sure the bracing for the speaker ring is going to be the hardest part here, but hey ill give it a shot. Gotta learn how to do it sometime right...

believe me mine didnt start off too well either, basically a poor design but they ended up coming out ok ;P. All I can really tell you is take your time on them...

e-brakes are for wussies ;P

E-Brakes are for people who like having fun in the snow ;-) thats why I want to keep it...but i might not have an option, I would have to position the rings almost perfectly to keep it. Especially with the mounting depth on these Type R's

Finished the shape of my kicks today, I'm going to carpet them tomorrow probably. I'll post pics with the rest of my finished system. Let me know how your stuff turns out

Updated some pics here, Just added the bracing and made the speaker rings today. Unfortunately, im sad to say that yes, I did have to get some help on it, like cutting out the holes so the magnets would fit, and needed proper tools to make the supports such as a saw, and the glue.

take your time... they look okay for your first project... just take your time

VERY nice wood cutting on there though... make sure you get all the bubbles out while you fiberglass, it'll make it smoother and less sanding later.

check for clearance with your speakers.. that support looks really close to the inside of the speaker ring for the component.

dont forget to run wires into it : )
