I will also agree with this. I was one of the first in the country to get one originally and have owned 5 since then. 3 were at once and one was stolen and replaced. My wife will not let me put any other deck in her car (she runs sound quality in Usaci) The pioneer PRS800 is also a great deck. I personally prefer the pioneer because I like to be able to tune myself and the 9887 is limited after Imprint. Imprint is great but isn't perfect.

His current problems will most likely still show up with any other deck. Some things just aren't right for him to be having all these problems.
