Hello everyone. Good to be here.
I am in the middle of my first build, and it's a real budget build, too. My goal is to end up better than stock, and keep it clean and discrete, for now.
Current setup:
Car: 1998 Chevrolet Prizm (a.k.a. Toyota Corolla)
Headunit: Aiwa CDC-X217 4x45w (~18-22w RMS) (Old, but perfectly functional)
Front: 2x Stock 6 1/2" (waiting on adapter brackets to arrive (E.T.A. 3-28-11) will be same Pioneers as rears)
Rear: 2x Pioneer TSG1643R, 6 1/2", 2-Way, 30w RMS
Subs: Twin 10" MTX's
Sub Amp: Sony MX502Z 100w RMS
Current cost:
Headunit: $35 eBay
Front speakers: $50
Rears speakers: $50
Subs: Free
Amp: $40
Wires and adapters ~$75
