First Box: Need Help w/ Dimensions

Ok guys, well i've finished the woodwork with the my first box (will take pics later). I think its turning out pretty well. The guy at home depot did pretty nice cuts, one was off but I cut a better one with the spare MDF I had.

I've got a few questions though.

1. Where can I get a nice port? it will be 4" wide, 6.5" long. I want it to be thin and overlap on the front of the box so you cant see the hole.

2. Is it really necessary to silicone the terminal cups in place?

3. Where can I get red automotive carpeting? I'd like it to match the interior of my car.
