My first box I built myself from scratch. Double baffled 2.3 cu ft^3. If calculations are correct it's tuned to 30hz with 30 inches of port area.

But congrats on your first box. It’s a great feeling doing your own and hopefully you take that knowledge and grow. If recommend firing the sub towards the trunk if possible.

That's what I told him too. But he wants to be able to see the subwoofer move. It was a birthday gift for my friend. I plan on making more boxes
