I agree. Bracing is a tad overkill in this situation, but overkill is not always a bad thing.I don't really see bracing as necessary when you consider the size of the enclosure and the double baffle...if anything a single wooden dowel between the woofers might help (I see that as the weakest point).
in your case I would just do the bracing like you had. that would be more the enough. Great thing about bracing is, if you put it all together and see any flexing no big deal, just pull a sub out and adjust as needed. I just don't see where you will have issues after some basic bracing.I wasn't sure. Even though it's got the db theres still 39" of mdf unsupported.
So if I have to resort to the 1.5x1.5's should I just use one going from the db to the back of the box and forget the one from top to bottom?
