First box build with videos (NO 56K)

This is my first documented box build, and the first box I've been happy with. Finally got around to uploading the pictures of it so I can get some critique and suggestions/comments on my setup. In the videos and possibly the pictures don't mind the messy wiring. It's all been cleaned up since I was waiting for the box to be carpeted anyways so I didn't have the Hifonics amp mounted where I wanted it. So about the install....

This is all in a 2001 accord coupe. I have, as the signature says, a single Rockford Fosgate 15" T1 powered by a Hifonics BXi1206D. The box I built is 3.5 cubic feet tuned to 32hz. I definitely learned from this to NEVER EVER again have Home Depot even make "rough estimate" cuts to what my pieces would be. They were horrible, and I should have known that already from the forums but I'm still partially a newb so bare with me. I fixed it all with my circular hand saw though, and I'm definitely investing in a table saw and router + jasper jig. If anyone has any suggestions to which brands to look for I'm open to it. I used Tite-bond wood glue 3 I believe for all the joints, and Liquid Nails to seal and caulk everything up to make sure there were no leaks. The sub cut-out was done with a hand-held jig-saw which took forever and a half to do. I also cut some pieces on a 45 degree angle with the circular saw to stick in a few corners. I know I should have painted the port before I put it together but I was pissed off about personal shit and just threw it together to get it done with. I painted it afterwards and it still came out pretty **** good. Whole port is black, and no wood can be seen. It might look sorta ugly (which is now covered by carpetting) but it sounds pretty **** good compared to setups I have heard around here in my area.

With those angled pcs did you just wood glue them in the touch them up with caulking?

Great build, looks like it pounds. Maybee some excursion next video.

I wood glued them in and afterwards I took the Liquid Nails and caulked up the sides top and bottom to make it smooth. It looked a lot better (the angled pieces) when it was finished.

Yup, 16 inches in height (needed to fit it in a tight area). Old box was 17.5 inches tall, but was not as deep, and a little less wide (I think 27 inches wide vs 30 inches on the new one, forgot the rest of the specs). It sounds SO much better with the lower tuning. I love it. Really hits those low notes being a 15 and with the low tuning and all.

Criticism: Don't start recording on the camera until there is about to be some action. It's really boring watching 30 seconds of nothing and 20 seconds of action.

Heh ya my bad. Almost forgot I even took those videos till i was uploading the pics of the build. I'll probably take new, higher quality videos soon now that the setup is all cleaned up and the box is carpetted.

it turned out good. how much did u have to force it together? and a random question in the last picture i see a statue of a white dog, do u by chance have a bichon frise? only way i know that is kuz i have one and the house is littered in bichon things
