The trunk lid weighs about 3-4 times the stock trunk lid weighs...one layer of dynamat extreme, all voids filled with expanding foam, then a thick coat of spectrum sludge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifdid you put some deadner on your trunk lid and stuff?
alright thanksmine are more under the deck, rather than the lid itself

well not necessarily, but one 15 is cheaper then 2 12s. i want to go with a 15 inch omega on like 3k so so its saves me a little green, i can spend on a table saw to make a couple different boxes.Sounds like my lid.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Great minds do think alike!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Does it have to be 15's? Why not something smaller:
Makes sense.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifwell not necessarily, but one 15 is cheaper then 2 12s. i want to go with a 15 inch omega on like 3k so so its saves me a little green, i can spend on a table saw to make a couple different boxes.

i have fired up in a trunk car with high 40's with 15s. the trick is to fire up with the subs to the front of the box. seal it so the bass cant go behind the subs into the rear of the trunk. i had a port firing over the subs about 4" high by 25" just behind the subs.
