Pioneer TS-5000 help

hey guys , im building a box for a 12" pioneer premier TS-5000 sub, and what size box should i build for it, rec. specs say 1.5 cubs, but i think thats too small, going in a ranger, any help me out with this sub, or any1 with experience with this bad boy ill take all info

These subs work well in little enclousers.We had ours in 1 cube sealed and the shit was loud!
