Firewall Help?

I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer. Im trying to find a way through the firewall on the passenger side to hook up my amp to the battery. Is there any way to get through cause i really dont want to start drillin, cause all my climate control equip. is on the other side and i can see me drillin right onto my heater coil. lol

Any suggestions?

Usually on GMs I run the power wire along the firewall and drill into the drivers side firewall behind the strut. It puts me right inder the dash so that I can run it under the carpet. I lose about 6 feet of wire that way though.
